Moments in Time

From time to time there is a trigger, a catalyst, an event, significant enough to prompt either a measured exploration (which is rare) or a feverish impetuous rampage (I do this a lot!). It is often something I have seen in the natural environment when I am bewitched by colours, reflections, strata, texture, flora and fauna, or something striking/unusual. I am constantly on the lookout… it’s an innate characteristic.

Here is the space to share with you, my valued viewers, a little glimpse of these “moments”.

Husband Ian and I were lucky enough to go to Scotland salmon fishing in September – we normally go in May every year to the river Cassley, but this year things have been a bit different! Our fishing buddy did a sterling job in finding us an alternative location and, not just the rods on the river Dee, but the accommodation and catering as well – no mean feat in these circumstances.

The Cairngorms were fabulous. Yes of course we had rain, and it was mighty cold at times too, and No I didn’t catch a salmon (Ian did), and yes, we had fun.
