These six images translate distinct types of breast cancer into abstracted, microscopic-inspired compositions. Drawing from histological imagery, each painting magnifies cellular structures, patterns, and disruptions that are normally unseen, transforming medical reality into visual language. Colour, flow, and form are used deliberately to echo proliferation, mutation, containment, and invasion—capturing both the beauty and the threat within these cellular worlds.

My major works represent the most ambitious and defining pieces of my practice—projects shaped by extended timeframes, technical complexity, and conceptual depth. These works often operate at scale, both physically and emotionally, combining research-led ideas with layered material processes to create pieces of strong visual impact and lasting resonance.
