The flowers and stalks are crafted from clay. The petals and central spadix were created individually prior to assembly which generates a 3D effect. The mellow, soft green and cream background sits well with the rich tones of the lily. Closer inspection will show the french script embedded in the base of this art work.
This is a special flower to me as it featured at my wedding.
