Daughter of the Fall
"Daughter of the Fall" is a mixed media celebration of Autumn’s spirit — a portrait infused with delicately sculpted foliage and real dried leaves creating a layered immersive composition. With it’s warm tones and natural elements that echo nature's gentle decay and vibrant farewell. Her flowing hair, streaked with the fiery tones of Autumn foliage, represents the passing of time, transformation, and resilience. By merging sculptural elements with painting, this piece bridges the ephemeral with the eternal — where every leaf tells a story.
Acrylic on stretched canvas 35.5 × 35.5 × 3.5cm. Clay sculpted leaves and dried leaves from my garden. Resin finish
PLEASE NOTE: “Daughter of the Fall ” forms part of a collection of four paintings depicting the four seasons all of which form part of the PLANTS LETS GROW exhibit at Malvern Spring Festival 8-11th May 2025, Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 1-6th July 2025, and RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse 16-20th July 2025. If you are charmed by her and can wait until after 20th July please message me on my contact page to reserve.
