FANTASY TRICKLES - Pure fun multi-coloured composition on hexagon canvas with resin finish.

£290.00

FANTASY TRICKLES - Fluid art on large hexagon canvas with vibrant yet soft multi-coloured composition with resin finish.

Spicing things up here with my first hexagon canvas - keeps me amused and was great fun to do, so I shall be doing more with different colour palettes!

Whilst the overall impression is one of pastels and soft shades, on close inspection there are actually some very vibrant colours popping up in the edging and profusion of cell formations.
There is a huge collection of colour - purple, magenta, gold, pink, mango, aqua, cobalt, lilac and coral - all of which blend to generate yet more hues. The cells are astonishing, packed with diverse colour in so many shapes and sizes. The narrow ribbons were not in my original plan for this painting but their addition brings a bit of extra movement and dimension to the piece. This was a favourite at my recent exhibition in Nottingham (where one viewer could quite definitely see octopus tentacles) and is one of my husband's hot picks.

This was created using the bloom recipe and adopting the swipe technique. It was constructed using acrylics and a wide variety of hand mixed colourarte pigments. I used an airbrush to lightly soften the edges of the ribbons to create the frills. The resin finish is a triumph on a canvas of this size and makes the colours sing.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK IS FREE BUT INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES WILL INCUR A CHARGE - PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR COSTS.
