We have a stash of LP’s that are redundant – we don’t use them, and we have Spotify, so if the mood took us, we can listen to Schubert or anything else we fancy. The stash has morphed into a new collection of very light weight canvases. Lucky me!!
The Schubert collection, items 1-5, all have an autumnal theme. I desperately wanted to create a series of works which captured the amazing combination of gloriously warm colours associated with autumn. Unfortunately, due to covid, there was a significant delay in receiving the all-important cork backing from Portugal, so my autumnal collection has waited until December -but it is still glorious!
There is drama in this work with swathes of black contrasting against metallic violet, purple, gold, and bronze on this 30cm round vinyl with resin finish. The rustic cork backing from Portugal, with its variety of colour and impression of fluidity, complement the art and adds a touch of distinction.

Note: there are 2 concentric circles in the centre, formed by the music label and underlying LP structure which are visible in certain lights/angles.
