We have a stash of LP’s that are redundant – we don’t use them, and we have Spotify, so if the mood took us, we can listen to Schubert or anything else we fancy. The stash has morphed into a new collection of very light weight canvases. Lucky me!!
The Schubert collection, items 1-5, all have an autumnal theme. I desperately wanted to create a series of works which captured the amazing combination of gloriously warm colours associated with autumn. Unfortunately, due to covid, there was a significant delay in receiving the all-important cork backing from Portugal, so my autumnal collection has waited until December -but it is still glorious!
This is autumn in full sun. A delightful combination of gold, bronze, copper, peach and pink lacing flows across the surface like a melody on this 30cm round vinyl with resin finish. The rustic cork backing from Portugal, with its variety of colour and impression of fluidity, complement the art and adds a touch of distinction.
