SILK KNICKERS - Ivory silk impression with black and pink lace interpretation

£325.00

SILK KNICKERS - Essentially in 3 diagonal sections with the ivory silk at the centre, and the black at each side, edged with the blue and pink lacing illusion.

This was the never ending painting! What started as white in the centre looked bland so I added a glaze of pearl initially, then decided it needed some sheen so added another glaze of a sparkle pigment. I was then happy with the centre section but not the density of flow in to the black so I then added blue and pink iridescent pigment to cascade over the black which created very pleasing shades of lilac and violet, but there was still something lacking! I had a lightbulb moment and determined that the solution was to embellish with a web of black ink to indicate fine lace - and there you have it! It took no time at all to name the painting - I think they are cami knickers don't you?

The resin finish really accentuates the glossy black silk and contrasts beautifully with the crushed ivory - perfect!

PLEASE NOTE THAT DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK IS FREE BUT INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES WILL INCUR A CHARGE - PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR COSTS.
